LARGE SCALE FUNDED SOLAR PV INSTALLATION AT ROE VALLEY ENTERPRISE LTD, LIMAVADY

Roe Valley Enterprise Free Solar System

TCR calculated the large savings that Roe Valley Enterprise and it's tenants would benefit from if they were to install this large system.  Upon proposing the system with it's benefits and large reduction in carbon footprint, they also realised that this would also help keep tenants in their units, with the lower energy costs and ultimately make their units more attractive to new business and to rent. With the approval from the board, NIE and building control we could take the project to the next level and install without any interruption to the businesses on the ground. Using tier 1 manufactured panels and high end mounting kits for the best possible fit and performance. We used our own professional dedicated fitters, sparks and surveyors to complete the job taking care of all the paperwork and commissioning.

4KW GROUND ARRAY SOLAR PV SYSTEM AT SEACOAST ROAD, LIMAVADY.

4KW Ground array

At this B&B in Limavady our customer wanted a solar pv system but not on his buildings. He also specified that he didn't want something that was easily seen. So, in this case we advised and proposed a low ground array system. Consisting of the panels in one straight line facing south and at the optimum angle. The system was properly installed on a concrete base that will anchor this system securely in the wind. Cabling was all hidden to the inverter in the nearby garage where we connected the system to consumer unit.

20KW BESPOKE SOLAR PV SYSTEM AT THE BROIGHTER GOLD FARM, LIMAVADY.

Richard & Leona Kane owners of the Broighter Gold farm were on the market for a Solar Pv System for their Rapeseed oil farm and plant. They needed to reduce and mitigate their energy costs, become more energy efficient and reduce their carbon footprint. They produce the well known Broighter Gold Rapeseed oil and they were growing fast. They wanted to install on the south side naturally but did not want to take up much farm land. We proposed a bespoke system, part ground array attached to a wall, on the gable of a shed and partly on a slate roof building. We confidently fitted the system, commissioned it and it was up and running in 3 days total. The farm is now benefiting from this sizable system with around 17,000kwh a year being produced from it.

17.25KW  SOLAR PV SYSTEM AT DUNGIVEN CHAPEL, DUNGIVEN.

Chapels and Churches spend a lot of money on electric and when Dungiven Chapel came to us to quote for a system we could clearly see that a Solar Pv System would greatly reduce their cost. We had an excellent south facing slate roof to work with and chose black panels for this install in keeping with the roof and to reduce visibility of the system. 3 rows of 23 panels in portrait layout was the best option to utilize the roof to it's full potential. The system took us 3 days to fit

20KW SOLAR PV SYSTEM AT A FARLOW ENGINEERING, GARVAGH.

A farlow engineering

Engineering workshops use an immense amount of electric to power their machinery. The nature of the business means high electric bills. A Farlow engineering needed to reduce their costs and solar was their first choice as it took up little space and didn't need any maintenance. We installed a 20kw system onto the trapezoid roof with a landscape layout in between the sky lights. The customer stressed that they needed that natural light. From there we attached the inverter to the workshop wall and then into their consumer unit. Easy access at this site and the system was installed in 3 days.

3KW GROUND ARRAY SOLAR PV SYSTEM AT WINDYHILL ROAD, LIMAVADY.

Windyhill Ground array

We are experts at ground array systems and pride ourselves on a quality install and foundation work to secure the system. Our customer wanted a system but not on the roof of the house. He had plenty of space in the garden and we proposed a system there, where we could face it directly south, to maximise the output. We use a deep concrete base on which we mount the ground array system. The system sits at a 35 degree angle. This is a two tier style ground array system with the inverter underneath it too. All wired back to the garage with hidden armoured cable. At TCR we undertook all this work ourselves which gives us total control on quality and the safety of the system in relation to wind loading, a key factor in the design.
